Know yourself, accept yourself, repair yourself

Know oneself

To know oneself is the first and eternal lesson of life. It is not only a simple understanding of one's own preferences, personality, and abilities, but also a deep understanding of one's values, dreams, and fears, a secret garden to explore the depths of one's soul.

Imagine standing in front of a giant mirror that not only reflects your appearance, but also looks inside your heart. What do you see? Is it bravery or cowardice? Is it firm or hesitant? Is it hot as fire or cold as ice?

To know oneself is to face this mirror bravely, not to escape, not to hide, and to truly examine each of oneself.

Socrates: "The only thing I know is that I know nothing." This sentence seems paradoxical, but it is profound. Knowing ourselves is a never-ending process, we are always on the road, there are always unknown areas to explore. Don't be afraid to admit your shortcomings, because that's where growth begins.

Accept yourself

It sounds simple, but it's incredibly difficult. Because in this world, we are always surrounded by standards and expectations, and these external voices often make us forget who we are, and make us feel ashamed and even disgusted with our imperfections.

"I love you not only for who you are, but also for who I am before you." This is a line from Edward Scissorhands, true acceptance, is accepting the whole of yourself, including strengths and weaknesses, is allowing yourself to be the most authentic version of yourself, not to have to change yourself to suit others.

To accept yourself means to let go of unnecessary comparisons, to stop worrying about what others have, and to stop feeling inferior about what you lack. It is the courage to reconcile with oneself, to embrace one's imperfections, to understand that each person has his own unique light and need not envy the lights of others.

Romain Rolland said: "There is only one real heroism in the world, and that is to love life after recognizing the truth of life."

Repair oneself

To know and accept yourself is to better repair yourself. On the road of life, we will inevitably encounter setbacks and hurt, these scars or deep or shallow, but they are part of the growth. To repair yourself is not to escape from the past, but to learn from it and turn the wound into a medal of life.

"Every day that you don't dance is a day that you fail to live." Nietzsche's words inspire us to cherish every moment, even in the process of repairing ourselves. Repair is not only the healing of the physical wound, but also the reconstruction of the mind. It requires us to learn to let go of past hurts, to fill those gaps with love and forgiveness, and to renew our hearts.

Repairing yourself is also a journey of self-improvement. We enrich ourselves by learning new knowledge and developing new skills, so that our inner self becomes stronger and more confident.

In this process, we may encounter obstacles and may feel tired, but please remember that every effort will not be in vain.

Ernest Hemingway: "Life always hurts us, but in the end, the places where we hurt are always the places where we are strongest." To repair yourself is to make your heart stronger and more beautiful.
