Two small tips for washing your face and massaging can help you "simulate" the effect of a beauty salon at home.

Forming some good habits in life is of great benefit to our beauty care as women.

When we go to a beauty salon and receive care from the lady assistants for nearly one hour, our faces feel bright and moist.

We think it's because they used some special equipment.

But actually, many of the beauty treatments provided by the beauty salons can also be done at home.

As the saying goes, there are no ugly women, only lazy women.

For instance, the correct way of washing your face and simple massage techniques can not only make the cleansing process more thorough, but also double the absorption of skin care products.

They can even reduce edema and firm the jawline, being 10 times more effective than simply applying skin care products!

Washing face:

Don't use hot water! Don't scrub vigorously! Follow these 3 steps to achieve clean and healthy skin.

Washing your face is the first step in skincare and it is also the most prone to mistakes. Many of you either use boiling hot water, cold water, or vigorously rub with a towel when washing your face. As a result, you thin out the skin's stratum corneum and end up with sensitive skin, blaming the skincare products for the problem.

In fact, you have done it wrong! The correct way to wash your face involves 3 steps:

1、The water temperature should be appropriate: around 37℃, similar to body temperature. Just test it with your hand - it should not burn your face or make your hands feel cold.

Hot water will wash away the oils on the skin surface, making the skin dry and sensitive; Cold water cannot clean the oils and dust in the pores, so warm water is the most suitable. It can clean thoroughly without harming the skin.

2、Face wash usage: A pea-sized amount is sufficient. Don't squeeze out a large blob.

People think that the more facial cleanser they squeeze, the cleaner their face will be. But that's not the case.

Squeezing too much will cause the skin to be overly cleaned and become dry.

The correct amount is the size of a soybean. Squeeze it onto the palm of your hand, then add some warm water and rub to create foam (you must create foam before applying it to your face.

If there is no foam, simply apply the cleanser directly to your face, as it can irritate the skin).

If you can't create foam, you can use a foaming net and it will create abundant foam after a few strokes.

3、Facial cleansing technique: Focus on scrubbing the T-zone, and gently sweep over the cheeks.

After applying the foam on your face, don't rub it roughly. Use your fingertips (not your nails! They can scratch the skin) to gently massage:

Start by massaging the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin), as these areas tend to produce oil, especially the blackheads on the nose and the closed pores on the chin.

You can massage for an extra 10 seconds and do it clockwise. Then massage the cheeks, just gently glide over them.

Don't use too much force as the skin on the cheeks is thin and excessive rubbing can make it sensitive.

Finally, rinse the foam off with warm water. Don't leave any foam on your face as it can clog the pores.

Massage:

Spend 1 minute massaging while applying the skin care product. It is 10 times more effective than simply applying it.

The massage technique is extremely simple. Just perform it while applying the essence or cream (cream has a thicker texture, making the massage smoother and the effect better):

1、Rub your hands together to warm them up: This will make the skin products easier to absorb.

After applying the essence or cream to your face, warm your hands (until they feel hot to the touch), then gently apply it to your face and keep it on for 3 seconds to allow the skin to acclimate to the temperature. This way, the subsequent massage and absorption will be faster.

2、Three massage techniques, 1 minute each day

Pulling down the jawline:

Place both hands on either side of the chin, with the thumbs at the bottom and the four fingers at the top. Gently pull from the chin towards the back of the ear. Pull while slowly moving upwards. Repeat this 3 times. It can eliminate double chin, tighten the jawline, and in the morning, it can also reduce swelling.

Reduce nasolabial folds:

Place your index and middle fingers together on both sides of your nose, then lift them upwards to the temples, and gently press the temples for 3 seconds. Repeat this process 3 times. This can help reduce nasolabial folds, promote facial circulation, and make your face look more radiant.

Relieve fine lines on the forehead:

Place the palms of both hands in the middle of the forehead, then gently sweep them to the temples on both sides. Apply a little force while sweeping. Repeat this 3 times. It can alleviate the fine lines on the forehead and also help relax your mood.

Remember, the massage should be gentle. Don't pull the skin forcefully, especially around the eyes. Just glide your hands over it lightly. Otherwise, you might cause fine lines to appear, which would be counterproductive.

Those sisters who like to use the massage comb can also give it a try. see  the following  link for reference .
