A low point is not a failure in life, but the beginning of a turning point.
Cherish the life in the low point, because true power often comes from rebirth after each nirvana.

A 49-year-old woman suddenly encountered a marital crisis. Not long ago, she and her husband had just moved into a large villa, and life seemed to be moving steadily towards a brighter future.
But one day, her husband calmly proposed a divorce. The reason was not intense, and even seemed "rational":
"It's too boring to go on like this. We can see the end from the beginning. It's better to separate and live different lives, giving each other more freedom."
They had been together since they were 19, for nearly 30 years of marriage. Life was indeed plain, but in her opinion, it was far from the point where they had to part.
The real rift had long been quietly formed.
Later, when that woman was reflecting on this marriage, she said a sentence that left people speechless for a long time:
"I haven't worked for a full ten years and have become a full-time housewife. It was precisely these ten years that made my husband and me have no real common topics. I just didn't notice it myself. This estrangement had actually formed long ago."
This sentence is closer to the truth than any accusation.
After a period of calm reflection, she gradually realized that:
In fact, they had long been on different paths. When watching a movie together, she was deeply moved and called it a "great work", but he dismissed it as "rubbish".
They had met because of their shared love for reading, but over the years, they had gone their separate ways - she preferred romantic and emotional literature, while he was more committed to grand historical missions and rational narratives.
It was not a matter of who was right or wrong, just a difference in direction.
When reality truly hit, escape was meaningless.
The only option was to face it head-on.
After letting go, she met another version of herself.
Ultimately, she chose to let go calmly.
After leaving the original life path, she contracted a piece of orchard near her residence and began to grow and sell apples. In the rhythm of the land and the seasons, she regained her sense of self.
Now, they each lead a wonderful and certain life.
This precisely confirms that sentence:
- Any person's dissuasion cannot truly make you wake up;
- what truly makes you see through the ways of human nature and wake up as if from a dream is only the losses you have suffered, the detours you have taken, and the wounds you have endured. click here to view
The low point is often the moment when one's talent is awakened.
As I wrote in another article: 【How to Discover One's Own Talents and Transform Them into Wealth】
The moment when one truly starts to think and search for one's own talent is not usually during a smooth and favorable period, but rather during:
- When losing a job
- When facing difficulties at work
- Or when major changes occur in life and one has to make a change
Only at these forced pauses can our potential have the opportunity to be stimulated, seen, and truly utilized.
But reality is often more subtle.
I have a cousin who works as a system administrator in an auto rental company. A few years ago, the company underwent layoffs, and he was extremely anxious, fearing that once unemployed, at the age of over 40, it would be very difficult to find a suitable job.
During that time, he even bought a DJI camera, planning to learn photography and try making short videos to prepare a "backup plan" for himself.
However, a year passed, and the company's operations gradually stabilized, and his side business plan was quietly put on hold.
I asked him why he didn't continue. His answer was very realistic:
"Every day is already too exhausting. I just want to rest on the weekend. How can I have the energy to mess around with other things?"
This example precisely illustrates:
Most of the time, we are not lacking in ability or having no ideas. Instead, -
As long as life can barely be sustained, it is difficult for people to truly make a change. Because "we haven't truly lost it yet".
Why are successful people always a minority?
Because in this world, there are far too many people who are content with the status quo.
However, those who actually take the step forward are often those who have been severely hit by reality and have no choice but to retreat. Only then do they manage to fight back.
So, sometimes, we really should be grateful for the lows of life.
If an ordinary person is not forced to the brink, where would the motivation come from for them to undergo transformation?
A very representative example is the famous actress Liu Xiaqing.
She once stood at the peak of China's entertainment industry, enjoying the greatest success and wealth. However, due to a tax scandal, she was imprisoned and all her assets were confiscated.
She served 420 days in prison and upon her release, she was almost penniless.
Nevertheless, she did not sink into despair.
To repay her debts and start a new life, she began to take on minor roles in movies, gradually re-entering the public eye.
She did not complain about her fate or indulge in her past glory. Instead, with an almost indomitable spirit, she achieved a complete rebirth.
Liu Xiaqing's experience is the best illustration of "the trough is not the end, but a restart".
Pain is the necessary path to enlightenment.
Pain is the necessary path to enlightenment.
- For a person's mind to become clear, it must go through pain and struggle;
- for a person's life to truly expand, it must endure pressure and hardships.
If you encounter someone who is mentally strong, calm in the face of changes, and seemingly omnipotent, it is almost certain that:
He must have gone through valleys that ordinary people could hardly imagine.
Those ups and downs have shaped his decisiveness, broad and profound mind, as well as calm and composed temperament at critical moments.
In the cracks, also grasp that beam of light.
The hardships during the low period are not punishment, but a process of accumulating strength.
Even a single ray of light shining through a crack is worth holding on to tightly.
Because when you finally emerge from the quagmire and look back, you will find:
Those former ruins have already turned into steps leading to the higher ground.
You will also unconsciously fall in love with the transformed self.
The more powerful a person is, the earlier they experience the storms.
If a person has profound virtue and great potential, their life will not always be smooth.
The hardships come earlier and are more intense -
One after another of assaults, round after round of tests, until you truly understand human nature and the rules of social operation, and complete a thorough awakening and transformation.
Conclusion:Stand up, or stand even higher.
The same setback -
- Some people never recover and never stand up again;
- Some not only stand up but also reach a higher place.
May we all become the latter.
Also, may you start to secretly reserve a path upwards for your own life before you truly lose it.
