The Seven Laws That Will Change Your Life

What determines the gap between people is not talent nor the degree of diligence, but the mode of thinking.

A person's thinking level decides his upper limit. The mode of thinking can be cultivated later in life. Once you master the following seven laws, you will be very close to achieving success.

These seven laws are: the Apple Law, the Lotus Law, the Bamboo Law, the Flea Law, the Crab Law, the Murphy Law, and the Status Law.

Apple's Law: Learn to Make Choices

If you have a bunch of apples, some good and some bad, which one would you choose to eat first?

The most sensible answer is to choose the good ones first and then throw away the bad ones directly.

If you eat the bad ones first, then the good ones will also gradually go bad. The result of this is that you will never be able to enjoy the sweet good apples. This is the Apple Law.

The same is true in life.

We need to learn to make choices. There must be giving up in order to gain. Always prioritize the most important things in your life.

Choosing a school, choosing a major, finding a job, finding a partner, getting married and having children, at each stage there are different choices.

Finding the most core thing to do at this moment is the greatest ability and capability of a person.

Lotus Flower Law: From quantitative change to qualitative change

The lotus flowers in a pond bloom one flower on the first day, two flowers on the second day, four flowers on the third day, and double the number from the previous day each day. By the thirtieth day, the entire pond will be covered with flowers.

However, it should be noted that on the 29th day, the lotus flowers only covered half of the pond.

On the last day, the number was equal to the total of the previous 29 days. This is the Lotus Law.

When people do things, it is the same. Most people are very impatient and give up after not seeing results for half a month.

But they don't know that all the efforts and persistence are for that final blooming.

This is the qualitative change resulting from quantitative change.

If one always hopes to get immediate rewards for every effort, then it is very likely to achieve nothing.

Alibaba founder Jack Ma said: "Today is cruel, tomorrow is even crueler, and the day after tomorrow is beautiful, but the vast majority of people are stuck in the night before the dawn."

The Bamboo Law: Persistence is Crucial

During the growth process of the bamboo, it only grew 3 centimeters in the first four years. At this time, the other trees nearby had already grown much taller.

Starting from the fifth year, the bamboo grew at a frantic rate of 30 centimeters per day. It only took six weeks for it to grow to 15 meters in height.

This was because during the previous four years, the bamboo had extended its root system over hundreds of square meters in the soil.

Life is like this too.

Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you won't get any rewards. At such times, you mustn't give up because you are actually digging deep roots downward.

When a host interviewed  stand-up comedian  Guo Degang, he said, "You became famous overnight." Guo Degang retorted, "Which night was that? You only knew me on this day, but who saw the years of obscurity that came before that?" The host was speechless.

All people's extraordinary lives are actually the result of gradual accumulation and gradual development. However, unfortunately, many people failed to survive the 3 centimeters.

04 、

Flea Law: There are no limits in life

The jumping height of a flea is 400 times its own body length, which is approximately 20 centimeters.

If you cover a flea with a 10-centimeter glass cup for a week, and then remove the cup, you will find that the flea can no longer jump beyond 10 centimeters. Some even lose their ability to jump.

Because the fleas would bump into the cup every time they jumped, for safety reasons, they wouldn't jump as high. Even if the cup was removed, the fleas would still believe there was an invisible framework restricting them.

This is the same for humans.

Everyone has the potential to jump very high, but in reality, such glass cups can be found everywhere.

It might stem from the suppression by parents during childhood, or from the ridicule by people around, but more often it comes from self-imposed limitations.

The weak will only act within the rules, setting a false sense of security for themselves and being afraid to break through or imagine anything beyond that.

While the strong ones will break through this invisible cup, not being constrained by fear, persisting in what their hearts desire, fulfilling what their abilities allow, and constantly changing and surpassing themselves, they will have the opportunity to gaze upon a broader sky.

The Crab Law: The Circle Matters

If you put a crab in a bamboo basket, you must cover the basket. Otherwise, the crab will climb up the bamboo basket.

However, when there are more than two crabs in the bamboo basket, there is no need to worry. There is no need to cover the lid either, because whenever one crab tries to climb up, the other one will pull it down and then climb up on top of it.

The final outcome was that not a single crab could escape, and this is known as the Crab Law.

The characteristic of the lower-class circle is that they constantly put each other in a difficult position, don't allow others to be successful, are jealous of each other, and undermine each other. They spend a lot of energy trying to suppress the other party, without having the energy to improve themselves. Eventually, they all fall back to the bottom rung.

The high-end circles usually support and cooperate with each other, because they understand that suppressing each other is not as good as achieving mutual success. It's better to appreciate each other, help each other connect with others, and thereby maximize their own benefits.

Therefore, we must break free from the clutches of the "crab law", embrace the concept of win-win thinking, and choose the circle that is positive, cooperative and mutually beneficial.

06 、

Murphy's Law: Positive Attitude

Sometimes, the more you worry about something, the more likely it is to happen.

For example, if a friend falls down, another person gloatingly says that they have never fallen before, and then suddenly falls down for no reason.

For instance, once I skipped a class during school. The teacher, who never conducted roll calls, actually did so on that day.

When waiting for the bus, it never came no matter how long we waited. Then just as we were about to take a taxi, the bus arrived.

This is Murphy's Law, and its core meaning is: "If there is any possibility that something could go wrong, no matter how small that possibility is, it will eventually happen."

Many people think that they don't want certain things to happen, but they do anyway.

In fact, whether something happens or not is random. It's just that when it hasn't happened, its impact on you is not significant, and you haven't paid much attention to it. Once it happens and has an impact on you, you start to be deeply impressed by it, and this will lead to an illusion.

So how can we break this rule?

From now on, no matter what we do, try to think positively and maintain a confident state.

Since the outcome of everything is inherently uncertain, you don't need to worry that this thing will fail. Because what is meant to happen will happen eventually. No matter how much you worry, it won't solve the problem.

Instead, when you approach things with a positive mindset, because you are very confident, your attention will become more focused, and this will make the outcome more likely to move in the direction of success.

The Position Law: Being Yourself is Important

Some people stand at the top of the mountain, while others stand at the foot of the mountain. Although their positions are different, in the eyes of both of them, the other person is of the same size.

This is the Position Law.

Some people always envy others, without realizing that they are also being envied by others. A small county envies the bright lights of a big city, and a big city envies the ease and freedom of a small county.

Don't be arrogant or  inferior because of others' conditions. View your own value objectively. When you are above others, treat them as human beings; when you are below others, treat yourself as a human being.

No matter how the outside world changes, we should calmly and steadily be ourselves, and adapt to the changes without changing.

These are the famous seven laws, each of which contains profound life wisdom. Life is like rowing against the current, not advancing means falling behind.

hope everyone can grow in the barren land and grow roses, and see the sunlight in the cracks.
