The Rich Habits is a summary of the habits of 177 multimillionaires and 128 poor people, and author Thomas Corey tells us through five years of research:
Habits, like fate, all habits of life can be changed and cultivated, and rich habits can determine the fate of your life. The book says:
01
Read every day
"Among the wealthy, 85 % read at least two books a month and 88 % read at least 30 minutes a day.
What do they read? 51 % read history, 55 % read self-improvement books, 58 % read the spins of successful people, and 79 % read learning materials."
Charlie Munger was once asked what the secret of Warren Buffett's success was. He replied, "I think it's because he spends half his time reading."
Buffett loves to read, and he once replied to a 17-year-old boy: Read everything you can.
A person who likes to read, his life will not be too bad.
02
Aim for 30 minutes of exercise a day
" 76 % of the wealthy spend at least 30 minutes a day doing aerobic exercise, such as running, jogging, walking, cycling, swimming, etc."
They know that keeping exercise keeps their bodies strong and their minds clear.
A healthy body is the cornerstone of wealth growth, and 30 minutes of exercise a day is the best way to maintain this cornerstone.
03
Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep a day
89% of the rich get at least seven hours of sleep a night. And 44% of the rich, who are also self-made rich, wake up three hours before work begins.
Ideally, we need to have five sleep cycles per night, but if we have fewer than four, long-term memory storage will be impaired, leaving no trace of what we learned.
Even a hundred days of recuperation may not make up for the loss caused by one night of no sleep
One of the most important factors affecting life span is sleep.
04
Eat healthy,Eat well
Rich people are very concerned about their health.
75% of the rich do not eat at fast food restaurants, they pay attention to their health every day.
They care about what and how much they eat, control their eating, don't binge, don't indulge in food and alcohol, and occasionally relax, but also moderate indulgence.
Greasy fried food and excessive sugar are rarely seen on the dinner tables of the rich. They prefer fresh vegetables, fiber-rich whole grains, good protein and healthy fats.
Healthy eating is an attitude towards life and an investment in the future.
05
Live with a rich mind
"92% of the rich believe they can make good luck if they pursue what they love."
"90% of the rich don't believe in fate. They think their lives are in their hands."
"90% of rich people believe that hard work is more important than a high IQ."
"85% of the rich insist on telling the truth and never lie."
"81% of the wealthy have developed a habit of controlling negative emotions such as anger, jealousy, resentment and hatred."
"79% of the rich are confident they can escape poverty or rise from middle class to rich class."
"54% of the rich believe optimism is an important factor in success."
"Successful people save 10 % of their salary to invest in their retirement plan."
Successful people usually view all problems with a get-rich-mindset.
Let's live with the mindset of getting rich, and in this journey, we will eventually become a better version of ourselves and create our own success story.
