Billionaire Rockefeller said, "If you earn three thousand dollars a month, no matter how frugal you are, you still only have three thousand."

Billionaire Rockefeller said: "If you earn 3,000  a month, how much can you save? It's only 3,000. If you earn 20,000  a month, you spend 10,000 and still have 10,000 left. If you earn 300,000  a month, you spend 10,000 and still have 290,000 left."

So, you must focus your efforts on how to make money. Instead of reducing your expenses, it's better to try to increase your income.

Choose a profession to earn a living and sustain life, wait for an opportunity to turn the situation around. Wealth lies in the art of management, not in hard work; profit lies in the circumstances, not in diligent farming.

In the era of knowledge economy, the higher one's cognitive level is, the stronger their ability to acquire wealth will be.

Those who make money through their cognitive abilities can earn ten times, or even a hundred times, more than others.

This is why most of us are ordinary people? And the reason why we are diligent every day but still can't become rich?

The writer “ Lau Shaw” wrote in " Camel Xiangzi":

"Xiangzi made a living by pulling horse carriages. He believed that if he kept working hard at pulling the carriages, he would eventually own a carriage of his own.

The truth is, despite putting in all his efforts, he ended up wasting his life in a sloppy manner."

Are we not just like Xiangzi? We are always told that diligence leads to wealth, but reality is like a heavy blow, making people dizzy and disoriented.

Look at those sweaty workers on the construction site, the staff working overtime in the office buildings, the sanitation workers sweeping the streets at four in the morning... Which one isn't diligent? Which one isn't hardworking?

But in the end, the money saved can't keep up with the rising housing prices, can't cover a serious illness, and even can't afford a child's extra tutoring class.

The truth is: Hard work can only provide for basic needs, but getting rich and establishing a prosperous business is based on a different set of principles.

Have you noticed? This world is like a huge grinding wheel. The donkey, blindfolded, pulls the wheel with all its strength, thinking it has gone a long way, but in fact, it has been spinning in the same place all its life.

The owner of the mill was eating the delicious tofu. Occasionally, he would throw some fodder to the donkey and praise it, saying "You're so capable". That was enough.

Most of us are like those blind donkeys. Your sweat merely speeds up the rotation of the millstone and makes the system operate more smoothly, but the wealth flows to those who design and own the millstone.

They tell you: "Be thrifty! Work hard!" But they never tell you that the real rule of the game is - the way you earn money determines your level of wealth.

Making money by selling time, you only have 24 hours a day, and there is a limit; making money by selling physical strength, your body will age and your value will decrease; while making money through knowledge, resources, and money itself, where is the limit? At the end of the sky.

  • The farmers grow the food that feeds millions of people, but the part that earns the least profit always goes to them.
  • “Xiangzi” pulled three cars and wore out every single part, saving every single copper coin with his sweat and blood, but a gust of wind or a wave could make him start all over again.

Because they were "cultivating diligently", rather than "planning schematically". They were "working hard", rather than "employing strategies and numerology".

Look at those top-level players. They build systems, set rules, manipulate levers. They make money with their thinking and cognition. A single minute's decision can be worth more than your lifetime of hard work.

So, stop using tactical diligence as a cover for strategic laziness. While you are working hard to pull the vehicle forward, you must also look ahead to see where you are going.
